Our mission: ANSWRR is a volunteer-driven, women-founded nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of central Texas wildlife while providing our community with the educational resources to coexist with nature.

Sam worked in dog rescue and served on the Board of Directors for a Nashville, TN organization. Since moving to Austin in 2015, she has volunteered in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.

Kristie has been involved in animal welfare since 2013. She is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and has experience in animal care through veterinary work, shelter environments, non-profits, and as an Animal Protection Officer.
